
Donna Lorman
President, Autism Society of Greater Orlando
Donna Lorman is the President of the Autism Society of Greater Orlando, a non-profit organization that has been serving the Central Florida Autism Community since 1996. Donna is a retired federal officer with the Department of Treasury with 34 years of service, as well as a certified instructor for the federal government. Donna has been instructing Autism Awareness Training for Law Enforcement Officers & First Responders for a decade training over 42,000 law enforcement officers in the state of Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. Donna is a graduate of Partners in Policymaking in the State of Florida and has used her skills as an advocate here in Central Florida for the past 30 years. She currently coordinates an adult social skills group for adults on the autism spectrum and has been doing so for over a decade. Donna has been married to her husband Steve since 1990 whom she shares two children with: Drew age 33 who is on the autism spectrum and Lauren age 31 who is neurotypical. She prides herself in bringing her professional, advocacy, and personal life together to assist parents and individuals on the autism spectrum for safe encounters with law enforcement officers.
